Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cable Instant operates on a month-to-month basis for all residential services. We do not require long-term contracts or lock-in periods. You are free to cancel your service at any time without early termination fees or cancellation penalties. We believe you should stay with us because the service is good, not because you're stuck.
2. How Monthly Billing Works at Cancellation
Because we bill monthly in advance for the upcoming service period, cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. If you cancel partway through a billing period, your service will remain active through the end of that period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months of unused service following a mid-cycle cancellation request.
Example: If your billing date is the 1st of the month and you request cancellation on the 15th, your service continues until the end of that month. You will not be charged for the following month.
3. Installation Fee Refunds
Standard installation fees, where applicable, are fully refundable if you cancel your service request before the installation appointment takes place. Once a technician has completed the installation and your service is active, installation fees are non-refundable. If an installation fails to connect service due to a problem on our end (not related to access issues at your property), no installation fee will be charged.
4. Equipment Return Policy
All leased equipment — including modems, routers, remotes, and set-top boxes — remains the property of Cable Instant. To avoid unreturned equipment charges, all leased equipment must be returned within 14 days of your service cancellation date.
- Equipment must be returned in working condition, accounting for normal wear and tear.
- Equipment damaged beyond normal use (cracked screens, liquid damage, missing components) may result in a replacement fee.
- If equipment is returned after an unreturned equipment fee has been charged to your account, the fee will be fully refunded upon receipt of the equipment.
- We will provide a prepaid return label or drop-off instructions upon cancellation request.
5. Service Outage Credits
If you experience a continuous, complete service outage lasting more than 24 hours due to a failure on our network — excluding power outages in your area, severe weather events, or access issues at your property — you may request a prorated credit to your account for the affected days. To request a credit:
- Contact our support team at +1 (877) 470-7587 to report the outage promptly.
- Allow us the opportunity to resolve the issue before a credit is issued.
- Credits will be applied to your next billing cycle, not issued as cash refunds.
6. Billing Disputes
If you believe you have been billed incorrectly, please contact our billing department within 60 days of the disputed charge. We will investigate and correct any billing errors promptly. Disputes raised more than 60 days after a charge may not be eligible for a refund.
